The Spring-Lock II series of pedestals are aluminum and have the unique and innovative friction lock at the bottom of the post. (Just as the seat mounts for present Spring-Lock units) By using this method of securing the post in the base, we are now able to offer an aluminum post in the Spring-Lock line that passes the proposed ABYC standards.
